Erie, PA 2017 Labor Day Parade
District 98 was represented by over 40 marchers In the Erie Labor Day Parade Members of Local Lodge 1211 with families took to the streets in Erie to support labor along with other Union Brothers and Sisters from many labor Organizations to be clear labor is alive. This is a day that all marched Celebrating Labor Day. The turnout is continuing to grow. This is the 3rd year since the parade stopped for almost 20 years. The efforts by Rosann Barker and the Staff from NWPA ALF and the participating union leaders needs to be thanked for such an event.
Awards were Given to many for participation such as Brother Zach Burrows from LL 1211 for his efforts in having 1211 members attend this event. District 98 ADBR Tim Buck received 2nd place for Distance Furthest Traveled. The shirts that BR Kevin Hallam worked on was noticed by all including other labor groups job well done. It was a Privilege to march with our brothers and sisters
